Greetings!
For me, just being me looks like cooking and eating a lot of delicious food and enjoying life with my family and community.
…Which is surprisingly hard to do in this crazy modern world we live in! I learned that the hard way in my twenties and early thirties. I went through a lot of hard times… Chronic illness, car crashes, poverty, failed relationships, depression - it was very hard. I had to seriously level up my skills and ability to adapt to the need of the time - whatever that was. I slowly became masterful at meeting life as it happened without losing touch with who I really was.
I focus on 3 areas to share what I’ve learned:
Spiritual, Health, and Business Coaching
Artisanal Ayurvedic Cooking
Vedic Astrology - Jyotiṣa
I do this in a variety of ways. 1 on1 coaching and consultations. Classes, workshops, retreats, and in person and digital events.
If you are here, you can likely relate to what I’ve shared and what I’m interested in. Perhaps you…
Want to feel more engaged and joyful in your daily life
Are a visionary with big plans for how to change the world and make it a better place
Have opened up in a big way spiritually, and want to integrate that with your everyday life to find greater success and stability
Are going through a period of challenge and difficulty, and need someone who can really listen well and be there for you emotionally AND help you with practical ways to solve your problems
Are an old soul who wants to dive deeply into what you came here to experience and learn in this life
I’m Gabriel, and I’m very passionate about making the world a better place, and making lots of friends and having a lot of fun of while I’m doing it 🤙🏼
To me, life is most interesting when spirituality shapes the flow of our day to day lives. I define spirituality as what deeply connects you to the fabric of Being - that which puts you in a state of mind where you are deeply content just being you.
When you’re in that state of mind, everything you do becomes a joyful expression of your own true nature.
Fun things are REALLY fun, and pleasant things are exquisitely pleasant.
Hard things are still hard, but you enjoy them because you are a person that enjoys challenges.
Sad things make you want to cry - and you do cry while appreciating your own natural flow of emotion.
Beautiful things cause you to stop and become captivated in their natural sweetness…
There is an inherent richness to life - no matter what is happening - that is irresistible.
My Story
All my life, I’ve hungered to understand what it really means to be human. I didn’t really know what I was looking for until I started practicing Yoga at the age of 23. (And no, that wasn’t a year or two ago 😉, it’s been more than a decade).
I’ve been following that path of golden bread crumbs ever since! I've led an interesting and unusual life:
I have a BSc in neuroscience from Mcgill University, world renowned for neuroscience
I spent ~10 years cooking professionally and traveling the world, starting at dishwasher and ending at executive chef.
I lived in Japan for ~2 years and speak fluent Japanese.
I love beautiful and elegant things, and I’ve also lived comfortably in shacks (literally)
Over the past 13 years, I’ve spent 25000+ hours studying and practicing the scientific art forms of the Vedic wisdom traditions - Yoga, Āyurveda, Jyotiṣa, Tantra and more…
I’ve experienced a lot of difficulty and loss, and have been blessed to develop a lot of compassion and a capacity to turn bad things into good things. I’m continually humbled by my day to day experience.
I tirelessly search for ways to connect with other humans so that we might uplift one another!
It is a pleasure to be connected to you, and may whatever we have to offer or share with one another be joyful, uplifting, and nourishing 🙏🏼
